About
OmniROM is a free software operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It involves a number of prominent developers from other projects.
The project is a reaction to the commercialisation of ROM project CyanogenMod.
Omni is a community-based project for the Android community which is Free^3: Free to Use, Free to Modify, Free to Share. It's also about options, which is the beauty of Android.
OmniROM, a new custom ROM for Android, has been made official at BABBQ (Big Android BBQ), by several developers whom you may already know including Chainfire, Xplodwild and Dees_Troy.
